(AKA the Introverted Artist)
Bonnie has been a lifelong artist who started, like many kids, doodling on anything she had handy. Bonnie's love for the arts led her to Parsons School of Design in NYC. She graduated with a BFA in Fashion Design & enjoyed a 10-year career in fashion illustration working at Vogue/Butterick/
McCall Patterns. She took a break from her professional pursuits after becoming a mom, but artists NEED to create. In 2014, Bonnie started Bonnie Liang Designs revisiting many of her favorite mediums from acrylic to polymer clay to textiles as a freelance artist. Bonnie is thrilled to share her love of art & design through the exciting medium of fiber arts. Bonnie calls Fairfield, CT "home" with her husband and their son & daughter.
(AKA the Outgoing Sewist)
Hannah comes from a long line of fiber artists. Growing up surrounded by women who were often sewing, knitting, crocheting, embroidering, or weaving instilled in her the value of using her hands to create. Hannah has always been passionate about kids & education. She helped raise her sisters, was a preschool teacher after college & worked with college students with disabilities after earning her MA in Education from UC Santa Barbara. She's currently a part-time executive function coach for Beyond BookSmart. Hannah feeds her creativity by sewing clothes for herself and making items for her business, Eliza Bee's Baby Gear. Hannah lives in Fairfield, CT with her husband and their two elementary-aged kiddos.
